Remember this fact...... The failures of Pearl Harbor weren't investigated UNTIL AFTER WWII ENDED!
Actually not the case. Several investigations during the war too. One prescient congressman said we would find out we weren't prepared for Pearl Harbor because we weren't prepared. Everyone thought the war would start in the Phillipines.
