Detroit, MI (LifeNews.com) -- At a press conference outside the WomanCare of Southfield abortion facility, Nicole Redden told reporters about her 15-year-old cousin's death that followed a late-term abortion there.
"This stuff needs to stop," said Redden. "People need to take a first hand look at what happens here."
Redden said the abortion business acted out of interest in "money and greed" when they performed an abortion on her cousin, Tamia Russell, who was six months pregnant.
Taisha Glenn, the sister of Russell's 24-year-old boyfriend, Stacy Glenn, had taken Russell to the abortion facility on January 7 without permission or notifying Russell's mother or guardian.
"A woman off the street took her in," said Redden. "She had no parental authority."
Glenn and Russell went to five other abortion facilities before coming to WomanCare. The other abortion businesses turned them away because Russell was too far along in her pregnancy, Redden said.
"They literally went shopping," Redden told reporters. "One even offered prenatal care and vitamins."
Redden said that Tamia used an identification card with another woman's picture to state she was 19, as abortions cannot be performed on minors in Michigan without parental consent.
According to Redden, the woman in the picture ID looked nothing like Russell -- but the abortion was done anyway.
The facility vaginally inserted laminaria, a seaweed used to begin dilation. Russell was sent home, where she confessed to her family that she was pregnant and had begun the abortion procedure.
When her mother and aunt called WomanCare, they said the abortion could not be stopped once the laminaria is inserted.
However, according to eMedicine Journal, though there are some medical risks, "pregnancies have safely been carried to term after laminaria insertion and removal." In fact, many crisis pregnancy centers offer laminaria removal for women who have changed their minds after beginning an abortion procedure.
Russell's mother drove her daughter to the abortion facility the next day to finish the abortion, which was performed by Alberto Hodari. Upon her return home, she experienced severe bleeding -- "so much so she soaked an entire mattress," Redden told LifeNews.com.
WomanCare told her family that such bleeding was "normal" following an abortion, and not to take her to the hospital.

The majority of abortions are committed against children of color, as the founder of Planned Parenthood was herself a white-supremacist.

How sad that another double homicide in the black community will only harden the Jesse Jackasson ears to the silent screams from the black babies being slaughtered because of his service to the evil one. When will our fellow citizens awaken, to reject this self-inflicted genocide championed by the likes of Maxine Wters, Jesse Jackson, Alvee Hastings, Barbara Boxer, Hillary Clinton, and the NAACP? How many more million black babies must be slaughtered and a few of their feckless mothers before the black people of America wake up?

When my teenage daughter asked me what I thought of abortion, I drove her to the local Planned Parenthood Clinic. An Abortorium. I asked her to tell me what kind of cars she saw that were in the doctors parking space and the clinics executive directors parking space. She answered expensive German luxury cars. I just let her think about it.

All the libs screaming about Rush Limbaugh's now-disproven doctor shopping, should be paying attention to this case. I have a feeling they won't.

Gee, this would make a great story line for Law and Order. Any chance we'll see it soon?

Advising them over the phone that a blood-soaked mattress was normal - hopefully this time they won't be able to get away with an out-of-court settlement.

Truth is a fungible commodity to the liberals now assaulting this Republic. The attacks on Rush's substance abuse were pure politics, as his show has proven in airing the democrat catcalls for the Palm Beach County election hopeful to 'make her prosecutor son get Limbaugh' ... and the guy doesn't even handle this class of cases! hate is another commodity the democrats nurture and cultivate ... poor traditional democrats, they don't even realize how pawnish they've become.

What is really needed here is for the trial lawyers to descend on abortion practicioners and clinics with the same fervor as other killers, such as the tobacco companies. If we can make abortion malpractice rates and cost of doing business prohibitive, it will result in saving lives.

I'm sure we will - with just a few modifications. First of all, the young mother's life during delivery will be at risk. Thus the need for an abortion. She will have gotten pregnant after being raped by her white pastor and the thing that kills her will be a nail bomb planted by the Pastor's son - who is a foaming at the mouth racist. Can't wait.

I mean, friggin' "duh".

It is obvious just by reading the excerpt this particular abortion mill had no qualms over breaking the law. I mean, come on, they were using the ID of a 19 year old female who did not even look like the decedent.
This has the ingredients of a mighty fine lawsuit. I wonder if we might see it?

Is the abortion clinic which killed this girl and her infant still open for business? I would hope they are shut down and the doctors who ignored a blood soaked mattress have had their licenses pulled. Everyone involved in this should be sued for all they're worth --- including the boyfriend and his sister --- so worried about child support payments that would have had to been made if the baby could have lived.

Russell's 24-year-old boyfriend, Stacy Glenn Has he been charged with statutory rape yet?
To: savedbygrace
From the full story:
Geoffrey Fieger, the attorney known for his defense of assisted suicide activist Jack Kevorkian, is apparently representing the family in its lawsuit. No one from Fieger's firm was present at the press conference. As Russell resided in Wayne County, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office has jurisdiction over the statutory rape. However, as the family apparently did not know Russell was pregnant until the day before she died, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office told LifeNews.com Thursday that there may not be a case the parents or guardians must make the complaint, and once the minor is dead, the complaint of statutory rape cannot be filed.

Abortion is such dirty, sad business - legalized murder plain and simple. My daughter can't get her ears pierced without my consent, but she can undergo general anesthesia in a chop shop and I have no legal right to know. The only thing parents can do is to work every day of the child's life to create a relationship built on trust and love. Then, if the child exercises such poor judgement and becomes pregnant, at least she will feel the natural instinct to seek guidance and help from her mother (or father). The libs continue to break the family bonds that are crucial for our children's survival. Why don't they realize that their actions are destructive?
