If Kennedy would just check for microphones and TV cameras after he comes to from his drunken stupors he wouldn't make such asinine comments.

Ted Kenndy's legacy beyond Chappaquiddick will the sponsorship of the immigration reform act of 1965 which made it easier for illegal aliens to enter our country and commit crimes, like hijacking airplanes.

Ted Kennedy: "We should leave Iraq quicker than I left Mary Jo in the erraaa Buick clawing for air."

"Kennedy rises early to read the morning newspapers and often calls Kerry's cell phone by 7 a.m. with advice."

Oh come on. Let's be truthful;
Kennedy rarely rises early after his usual all-night binges and reads The Workers World Daily while having his first drink of the day and sometimes calls Kerry's cell phone around 7 p.m. with advice on how to kill an intern and NOT get caught.

There, that's better!

Ted didn't leave the scene of a fatal accident. Ted left a living woman to die in those murky waters. It was a murder scene. Ted Kennedy is a murderer. Ted has many, many dispicable scenes from his past and present, but he will never be more than a murderer.

Ted Kennedy should not be in the US senate. He should be coming up for his eighth parole hearing.

Wonder if someone is going to write a book about Chappaquadic and Mary Jo to examine the facts in detail like the Skakel case and maybe we can put Teddy on trial for his deeds rather than listen to this LQQSE cannon lose all his marbles in between drinks as he tries to justify his actions.

Of the three Kennedy brothers, Teddy has always been the runt who couldn't pull his own weight. He has always been overshadowed by his more famous brothers whose liberal views back then are more like Bush's conservatism now than Teddy's knee-jerk socialism.

an "arrogant disrespect for the United Nations"

I didn't know that was a problem. I have an arrogant disrespect for both Teddy Swimmer and the UN.

Putting Teddy out as Kerry's moral voice is a well known device of "diminution by comparison".

It is similar to what Rodney Dangerfield's character did in the movie "Back To School". If you recall, Rodney's character ran a chain of clothing stores for "Big and Stout" men or some such. When they did a commercial, Rodney was standing with some models playing the part of his customers. He thought he looked like he was gaining weight so he told his assistants to "get some fatter models". Viola, he would look thinner standing next to fatter people.

Kerry throws Teddy out there. Compared to Teddy, Kerry looks like a frigging saint.

... a halo-ready statesman of the noblest order ... the Senate's liberal lion ... the elder statesman with the star power ... the leading liberal voice of the Democratic Party ... an asset in the critical task of turning out the Democratic vote ...

"a gay illiterate" (see section 1)
