What exactly does the Crown Prince of Spain do, anyway? Why do they even have one?

Tell me? What does Prince Charles of England do?

It is Europe.. They have a history of Monarchy..
You don't like it? Tough.. It's their country, a sovereign nation, and not liable to the laws of the United States..

We should respect their monarchy if we go to their countries --- but we're not a nation of kings, we don't believe in them. What's so wrong with them getting treated like the ordinary guy?

Still --- like your list in post 67 --- how many of us would recognize even two of them if we somehow came up with them face to face? Much less their siblings, children, their spouses, lovers or whatever else. It's silly to expect airport screeners to somehow recognize some obscure European prince and his female traveling partner --- or else anyone could go to the airport and claim to be royalty and expect not to be searched. If there is any blame, it's probably on him and his lady friend for not making prior arrangements.
