I'm feeling less sure with so many remonstrances to be careful and the knowledge that I am certainly not infallible. I guess we can only hope for the best (or the worst - depending upon one's perspective).

No chance it could be out before the election. That's just too fast.
Chances are it will never be made at all, like nearly everything else that gets optioned. Interest has peaked now, and will drop off sharply in the next month or so. I'm rather surprised Calley made the deal, he's savvy enough to know better. Although I suppose it was inevitable someone would make the deal, and I notice there's no metion whatsoever of money, which means it was low.
Unless some star decides to make this his personal project (Tim Robbins maybe?), it'll never happen.
