He may have kept in close contact over the years, and sent support payments every step of the way.

He didn't. His ex-wife said so, and a judge agreed.

You seem to think that Terry's recent sordidness can somehow be separated from his relationship with his son.

A man who can "snap" as Terry did, and shack up with a woman who could be his daughter is not to be trusted, morally.

Why do you believe anything he says?

It was just over a month ago that when people took umbrage at your aggressive slap-downs you hid behind the weasel words, "Please, it's Lent." Apparently those words don't run very deep with you.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Perhaps you could put up some reference to your delusions.

Terry may in fact be a respulsive little man, but he hasn't been convicted of a thing. If he deserves to be, I hope he is.

You say he probably neglected his kids. Now there's rock solid proof against him.

My son's teen years became a mixed stream of happy times mingled with half-truths, dishonesty and a double life.

These are Terry's words.

They reflect his own life.

No wonder his kid is so screwed up.

I can think of at least five families right now who raised excellent kids, all except for one.

You're absolutely correct. A beloved and godly former pastor of mine, and his wife, raised a passel of wonderful children, but one of their boys turned out to be gay, much to the grief of his parents. It happens.

Uh, sink, before bedtime. Had you been a black man in Selma in 1965. would you have been nice and comfy in bed with your wife?

And are you good with sleeping through the Rescue Days?

I've googled the names and there is more there than I care to know. What is there to say? Why advertise it? I do not read gay mags. I guess some do. OK. Tonight the web sites have gotten a few more hits. Tomorrow no one will care except the readers.

"Randall Terry was a disaster for the pro-life movement!"

I couldn't agree with you more. The focus shifted from the "babies" to getting operation rescuers out of jail, saving their homes, and preventing bankruptcy. It was the pro-choice left that convinced the courts (wrongly) to apply Rico to pro-lifers protesting at clinics, so they (the left) share some of the blame for that one. But there is no doubt Terry and his Operation Rescue followers helped to set the pro-life movement back fifteen years.

I don't know the man, so I don't care to judge him about his family problems. However, I am extremely angry with him for leading so many pro-lifers and the movement to destruction so many years ago, from which the movement has yet to recover. And the division he caused among pro-lifers was devastating. Not enough can be said about this.

Protesting is a waste of time.

Political involvement is the only thing that will affect change.

And I've been involved in Bush's campaign, Cornyn's campaign, Joe Barton's campaign, in spades.

You hitched your wagon to a gigolo, don-o. Don't put your faith in princes.

You want a stellar example for the pro-life protests?

I offer Flip Benham. He's a good man, a zealous pro-life advocate, and he's rational.

I don't care for the bloody fetus pictures he shows to high school kids, but that's the only thing I disagree with him on.

"I've always thought Randall Terry was a phony, even when he was "crusading" for the pro-life movement."

Ditto. Again we agree.

I don't think anyone's questioning that he has the right to respond. But the way he responded is wholly inappropriate and seriously detrimental to his own credibility. It reflects very poorly on his own integrity. It makes one question the man's mental fitness.

I'm happy leaving my comments to the readers of this thread.

I have no idea of Randall Terry is even telling the truth, in his article.

Sometimes, you reap what you sow.

That's true; however, Randall Terry will get great rewards in Heaven for what he has sown. This ungrateful, perverted adopted son has nothing to do with his great work in trying to stop the murder of unborn babies.

Randall Terry is a well-known anti-abortionist.....if you had done any serious reading over the last 10 yrs you would know that....

"we reap what we sow"?????

you mean, if you stand up for what is morally right than you will be punished by God?...don't think so.....

Good luck to you Terry.....stay strong...but leave the door open a crack for this wayward son....one never knows....

the Evil hord on this earth rejoice when someone comes over to their side.....
