The United States asked the Al Jazeera news team to leave Fallujah as one of the conditions of reaching a cease fire settlement to the bloody stand off in the besieged western Baghdad town Friday April 9.
'American forces declared al Jazeera must leave before any progress is made to settle the Fallujah stand off,' al Jazeera director general Wadah Khanfar told Islam Online.Net, citing sources close to the Iraqi Governing Council.
Khanfar, the former Baghdad bureau chairman of the station, declined to speculate on reasons for putting Al Jazeera's departure as 'part of solving the crisis.'
Khanfar also dismissed charges of bias in the coverage of the Fallujah raids.
'We try to be objective. The situation there bears signs of humanitarian crisis, we just shed light on this.'

Such a 'serious' and trustworthy news orginization!

Well, I think they should stay. Let them show the dead terrorist bodies piling up. Maybe it will make anyone who's thinking about 'joining up' think again. As far as a humanitarian crisis, tough.

Using women and children as human shields only works when there is a camera near. AJ is the PR wing for these vermin.

Let them stick around. Heck, they could end up as the main story tomorrow. "Collateral Damage Assessment", anybody?

I simply cannot understand why we permit Al Jazeera to continue to exist. Their physical assets should be destroyed, everywhere--including satellites.
Mystifying why we have not taken this obvious measure.

You are either showing your age or have a great grasp of American folk lore.
I hope you are young and it's the latter.
Good one...
