Someone posted a ping list on that reply and made a mistake. He asked us to remove the post, but it will still show up in your comments.

There was nothing wrong with the pulled reply and that poster was not banned.

The question arose again about #297 and its deletion. Nothing wrong with the reply, just erased (at the poster's request) as an accidental duplicate.

There really ought to be a way to indicate when a post has been deleted for such benign editing reasons rather than the more severe ones. Otherwise it leaves the impression that FR has/is becomming a hothouse of politically correct censorship with more pulled posts than is actually the case.

Maybe a little graphic of a kitty or bunny playing in a field of daisies? An eraser? Something...
