741 - "Unbridled capitalism is as unrealistic as big L libertarianism."

Sorry, I must disagree.

It is very realistic and very dangerous. Read up on John D. Rockefeller and other monopolistic capitolists of his era, and read Upton Sinclair about what we would be eating.

Thank God we had Teddy Roosevelt, or we would all be powerless penniless serfs on their corporate plantations.

Upton Sinclair was a muckraker and a bloody SOCIALIST."THE JUNGLE" et al, are FICTION and exaggerated, hyperbolic fiction at that.

The PURE FOOD AND DRUG LAWS are far more relevant, as to the quality of the food we eat, than any works of fiction.

Teddy Roosevelt, the "TRUST BUSTER",went after monopolies, but he didn't really do anything to keep workers from serfdom.

Facts matter, history shouldn't be revised by anyone, and less emotion and more facts would help your position. Too bad that you haven't managed to employ that tact.
