Never worked with you guys, the SeaDevils

That's because HC-7 was known as "The Big Mothers" then.

686 - Sorry - my Navy time I was on a Destroyer Escort and in an Air Anti-Sub squadron in US and Gitmo. My Navy work in the war was mostly limited to fast movers and Laos and my work with the Laotian Forestry Service.

Could it have been Operation Sea Dragon, or perhaps SeaWolfs I was thinking of. It seems to me Big Mothers were SAR choppers, like our Jolly Greens.

I wasn't in the much contact with the Navy rescues, only Air Force rescues of Navy fast mover pilots in Laos (HoChi Min trail bombing), and USAF rescues and an occasional Army one in the Delta.

It's been a long time now - over 30 years.
