If he attends mass in a Cathedral, it can accomodate more cameras.

New England FReepers need to mount a massive demonstration against Kerry receiving Holy Euchariust. If anyone can organize this, please do, and let me know. I'll probably drive up from PA just to be there if a protest gets going.

The Paulist Center
 |
Welcome to the Paulist Center Community of Boston. As our name suggests, we are affiliated with the Paulist Fathers from whom our ordained ministerial staff are drawn. 1995 marked the 50th anniversary of the Paulist presence in Boston, and the 25th anniversary of the Paulist Center Community. The Chapel at the Paulist Center is the heart of our liturgical life. It is a simple space (left) and was renovated during the summer of 2001 to include access to the sanctuary for the physically disabled. The renovations also improved the sight lines and visibility of the sanctuary while creating a warm, welcoming, and communal space. |
Where is the Paulist Center? The Paulist Center is located at 5 Park Street in downtown Boston. We are within a block of the Park Street subway station, the Massachusetts State House, the Boston Common, and Boston's historic Freedom Trail. Parking is occasionally available on the surrounding streets. Less adventuresome drivers can park in the Boston Common Garage, or public garages at One Beacon Street or Center Plaza. The Paulist Center has a discounted parking rate at the One Beacon Street Garage ($4.00 after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends). You will need to get your parking ticket validated either at the Welcoming Center on the first floor or by asking any of the Liturgical Ministers. |

The pastor can still refuse to serve him communion.

If child-molesting priests can still receive communion, so can a liberal Democrat.

I'm told the Paulists make the Maryknolls look like the ultra-right. Will they obey and order from the Abp?

Will they obey and order from the Abp?From the article:
Rev. John Ardis, director of the Paulist Center, said the Kerrys had received Communion there and were always welcome to do so. Asked if he had been instructed not to offer Kerry Communion Ardis said: "No. Definitely not. I got a call from them (the archdiocese) an hour ago ... They wanted me to know that the archbishop has not taken a stand and he is free to receive the Eucharist."
Sounds like Archbishop Sean P. O'Malley of the Archdiocse of Boston needs to hear from many enraged Catholics between now and Easter morning!

The pastor can still refuse to serve him communion. Maybe he can secretly replace Kerry's wine and communion wafer with an RC Cola and a Moon Pie.

Let's see if Lurch notices.

Kerry changes Churches and religions almost weekly for political purposes.
Sad. Sad. Sad.

the archbishop has not taken a stand
One day bishops who refuse to take a stand will stand before the ONE WHO will not be refused.
He will ask: "Why did you not stand guard to defend my sheep againt the ravenous wolves ?!"

In February, Archbishop Raymond Burke of St Louis advised Kerry not to "present himself for communion" at any church in the city.It appears the Archbishop has indeed taken a stand.
Some loophole mentality flunky is lying.

Another disappointment. I had some hope that O'Malley would show episcopal courage and stand up to pro-abort politicians. Unfortunately, he is merely another bishop who is willing to acquiesce in religious scandal for whatever political or financial reason. How sad and discouraging.
