I saw your comment earlier about not watching Matthews for fun anymore. You are right. He crossed well beyond the line today with his irresponsible blathering and giving a platform to lunatic ravings.

That's it for me, too. I tried to watch tonight's re-run, and I got so mad my wife went to the bedroom and closed the door.

I will send him an e-mail telling him that I will no longer watch his show; I'll go to Shep or Anderson Cooper (of course, now that the hockey playoffs are on, I won't watch much news anyway).

The segment with the 9/11 widows was the most shameful bit of television I've watched in a very long time.

These women ought to be ashamed of themselves.
