Wasn't this all over the media or was it just on Fox?

The double standard is glaringly obvious. Most Americans don't even know this happened. Saying nice things about an elder in the Senate is one thing, but such fulsome and specific praise is at least as ridiculous and offensive as Lott's stupid throwaway line.
What more is there to say!

And to think that Trent Lott was ostracized by the demoncRAT socialists, general media, and the black Congressional caucus and NAACP for toasting Strom Thurmond at a private party that said "if you had been president in the 40s we wouldn't have the problems we have today." Now Dodd publicly toasts a Ku Klux Klan leader who is known as the King of Pork and the same groups that criticized Lott gush all over themselves in this toast. What hypocrisy! Makes me sick to my stomach.
