She sounds nervous. I agree. She needs to take a deep breath.

Says she kept staff to ensure continuity of operations while they worked on new policies. Wanted to continue covert operations.

Condi's voice always sounds shakey. With one exception. Once, a month ago or so, she was on Russert's show and her voice was not shakey. At that time, her voice was so strong that we wondered if she had taken professional voice lessons.

Ow Slap at Clinton.
We revived the practice of meeting with the CIA director on a daily basis, with the P, VP, NSD, and SofS(taff.)

Rice recounts that they took the Al Qaeda threat so seriously they kept the Clinton staff to insure continuity while their own new administration had a chance to review and revise as needed.
President saw Tenet almost every morning.

The 'Lusitaina' WOW! I thought that little history to be quite enlightening. Though I think she spoke too fast. A few somber pauses would have been appropriate. However, she mentioned a few things I didn't know. Interesting.

Looks like HDTV adds much more than the traditional ten pounds. What a difference from the image on my 'traditional' TV. Dr Rice looks slim and delicate on my screen.
