Bill Clinton did not care that he had exposed the presidency to blackmail by a foreign power by engaging in at least seventeen phone sex calls with Monica Lewinsky on her unsecured line. Clinton laughed off concerns of a national security breach, telling Ms. Lewinsky that if they were blackmailed to say they were just making it up. ----I used this argument many times against liberals and one had the nerve to say "ya that was wrong but he wasn't a bad guy," then said he was Personally offended when I compared bubba to hitler.

Thanks for the comments. The Betty Currie story was put in as an unstated contrast to the current administration and to demonstrate how Clinton abused his White House staff, making them complicit in his schemes.
If you have specific information on Linda Daschle activities (beyond her being a lobbyist for the airline industries) that helped make the airliners vulnerable to the Sept. 11 attacks, let me know.

Pre-911 I haven't heard anything specific, but I do remember hearing if not reading about her pushing for mandatory purchases of ineffective screening equipment post-911. I don't recall the name of the company, however.
Of course, the whole leasing instead of buying planes from Boeing controversy continues to this day and even made the news again a few days ago.
Anyway, thanks for being there!

You of course have no agenda. You are simply concerned right? This is outrageous and one would expect to see it on perhaps ABC news, but not here on FR. We are a bit smarter than the lackey's for the left in the major media. Anyone who thinks that this administration would just sit there and let this happen is either a democrat operative, or just paranoid.

Responsibility is as responsible people do. President Bush may have only been sitting in the Oval Office for 233 days before the bin Laden's hired terrorists scum maggots horrifically and without mercy killed our citizens on September 11, 2001, he responded with brute and everlasting force against America's enemies.
President Clinton had 2,920 days of sitting in the Oval Office frantically trying to wipe his semen off a blue dress.
Case closed.
DC FReeper Chapter, you guys are valient and stalwart. Thank God you are hanging in with this with such great enthusiasm and honesty.
And for you democrat leadership swine do you plot and scheme to see us in burkhas while our children are being tortured and our brawny men bowed in submission to some foreign god's mullah demanding tribute and submission while their wives are being raped? For that is what you are asking for when you deny the truth of what America faces.
A pox on your DNC house for your lack of care and consideration of our destiny and my children's future.
DC Chapter you rock them hard and rock them 24/7!
