There simply is no such thing as climate control. The climate controls us, not the other way around.Persons believing contrary to this statement inflate man's importance to climate out of all proportion, or, more likely, have a sinister agenda that specifically targets the USA.

The enviroweenies are responsible for starving children worldwide. 5 billion dollars would feed a lot of starving children. Instead we waste it on volvo driving socialist profesors and scientists hooked on dollars stolen from the productive. You don't shut down a 5 billion dollar industry no matter how irrational and non productive the research is. It just won't happen.

The environmental movement, dating from the publication of Rachel Carson's book
The book that sentenced millions of Africans to death by malaria. DDT kills mosquitos. Mosquitos kill people. Environmentalists kill people, too.

This temperature update presents the NASA satellite measurements of monthly temperature anomaliesthe difference between the observed values and the 19791998 mean values. Global satellite measurements are made from a series of orbiting platforms that sense the average temperature in various atmospheric layers. Here, we present the lowest level, which matches nearly perfectly with the mean temperatures measured by weather balloons in the layer between 5,000 and 28,000 feet. The satellite measurements are considered accurate to within 0.01°C and provide more uniform coverage of the entire globe than surface measurements, which tend to concentrate over land.
April 2003: The global average temperature departure was 0.14°C; the Northern Hemisphere temperature departure was 0.25°C; and the Southern Hemisphere departure was 0.03°C.
Below: Monthly satellite temperatures for the Northern Hemisphere (top) and Southern Hemisphere (bottom). Trend lines indicate statistically significant changes only.

There simply is no such thing as climate control. The climate controls us, not the other way around. With the sole exception of the nuclear bomb, this is absolutely true. The earth may be warming slightly, but not much more than known periodic shifts, and definitely not enough to make a significant difference for anything. And I don't see how we would think it is because of us.
