from her position in the car
that she struggled for breath
to the very end. Meantime, Mr.
Morality himself swam off to
sober up, and let her drown.
It is obvious that Ted Kennedy committed murder that night. Had he immediately reported the accident that night, it is almost a certainty that Mary Jo could have been rescued in time. But Teddy was more concerned about his political viability than to save "some dying girl" (as he would have callously put it).
That fact that he left her there to drown while he went for a good night sleep so he could sober up and call his lawyer in the morning constitutes nothing less than cold-blooded murder in my opinion. What a repulsive man. Murderer.
