There was something about the lives of several teammates that intrigued Pittsburgh Steeler Tunch Ilkin more than 20 years ago. "They were different. There was something about them that I had never seen in men before," he said. "They had a sense of humility, a sense of joy, and they had a love for each other. They lived a life that demanded an explanation."
