Does Egyption law provide for this, or is this a function of unorderly mobs?

Oppression of Christians in Egypt is carried out under official government sanction. And by "unorderly mobs," when they want to amuse themselves.

But there is no section within the Egyption Legal System that encodes this, correct? Is this still carried out? When is the last occurance of "oppression" of Christians in Egypt and what did it entail?

Just curious as my friend has family in Egypt who are Christians...
