But I think what you're thinking about was on Morning Edition. They were interviewing the editor of the L.A.Times about some journalism awards the paper had won. One was for a story that they tried to write so that the ideology of the reporter was not apparent. The editor actually said that. They tried to write the story in such a way that you couldn't determine the ideology of the reporter...in other words, with no bias.

Now isn't that how they are SUPPOSED to write ALL their stories (as opposed to editorials?) Obviously, that ISN'T how they write all their stories, because it appeared to be a novel thing!
