April 7 (Tanjug) - Kosovo ethnic Albanians possess half a million of pieces of illegal weapons, the Kosovska Mitrovica daily Jedinstvo said in its latest issue, pointing out that 25,000 pieces of registered hunting weapons should be added to that figure.

With such a large number of weapons, the 20,000 Kfor soldiers, 3,700 UNMIK policemen, 6,200 members of the Kosovo police service and 3,200 members of the Kosovo Protection Corps cannot guarantee safety for the Kosovo-Metohija inhabitants, the Jedinstvo said.
