I'm one of these careless, thoughtless people who takes no precautions and feel my partner is STD-free in spite of not being tested. They would be horrified by my responses. Of course I think those in a monogamous marriage ought to feel invincible!

They cried wolf on AIDS with respect to heterosexual transmission, so why are they surprised about this result on diseases that middle class young adults actually DO have and transmit?
