I am curious, do women go to the mosques? I have never seen a pic of a woman in a mosque?

Yes, they do attend mosque. Women and young children meet in a separate area of the mosque. Sometimes in the an open courtyard outside, or in a separate meeting room with a speaker piping in the 'sermon' of the day. Boys older than ten or eleven attend the men's section with older relatives. While praying in the family, or in a large group the women are always to stand behind the men and older male children.
