Protesters clapping together rubber beach sandals called flip-flops, met Kerry and he scolded them, saying, "Obviously, some young Republicans are proving that they're very rude and they have no manners. They don't want to hear the truth."

What an idiot. A humorous remark would have gone a lot further, but all Kerry has done by his comment is ensure that flip-flops will be greeting him at every stop!

No sense of humor. No sense of when to keep quiet.

No one watching on television would have even known thee were protesters if this guy hadn't made that comment.

And once again, may I say that the crowd surrounding Kerry looked grim-faced and angry, possibly because Kerry in large doses has that effect on people.

Perhaps we should adopt them as our anti-Kerry slogan/logo. Just like the "SORE LOSERMAN" logo of the election protests. BTW, who did that one, it was brilliant.
