The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Joe Kennedy was an appeaser too, but this article is too kind, Roosevelt got rid of him!:

Roosevelt rewarded him, with an appointment as the Chairman of Securities and Exchange Commission. After serving in this post for several years, he resigned in 1935. Comparing Iraq to Vietnam does encourages our enemies in Iraq to keep killing Americans. It makes them think that the American people will turn against the war if they do. It brings up images in other countries of massive protests against the war that the left remembers so fondly. IT says to our soldiers the American people don't support you, bringing up images of soldiers being spit on and called baby-killers by people like John Kerry.

Kennedy knows that Saddam was a threat who needed to be removed, and said so in 2002. He is giving aid and comfort to our enemies purely for political purposes. He is just plain evil.
