I remember that incident happened in Quebec and it was very disgusting. I, for one, was very embarrassed over those few who took part in it all and I wish I could apologize to all of those kids and their parents for that incidient. If memory serves, many millions of Canadians felt the same way I did. I was also very upset that we did not "officially join" (note we were there but unofficially of course) the fray in Iraq. We have lost a few soliders in this global war on terrorism but no where near what the brave soldiers of the US have given up in that war and the subsequent clean up.
At least with the new federal government, we have donated many millions to Iraq and support the USA and Britain. I know we have many troops tied up in Halfganistan as well as now Haiti to help the Americans and I do know our some of our police service is training the Iraqis.
Look I got cousins and Aunts and Uncles all over the USA. I enjoy my visits to the USA all the time and for the most part I have had an enjoyable time.
I hope relations between the two governments get much better. I for one know how lucky we are as a country to have the USA as a neighbour and the freedom it brings. There are many in this country who think the way I do. But you have to remember, we have certain segments of the country, just like your country, who have these (false) "opinions" about things and yes, like you, I would like it to stop.
Take care and hoping for a Bush43 win in November,
