On Tuesday afternoon, Palestinian workers and Israelis were evacuated from the Erez industrial zone in the northern Gaza following intelligence reports of possible terror attacks.
Security forces are combing the area.
Last Friday, the zone was closed owing to similar warnings.
Earlier, a weapons smuggling tunnel was discovered between Egypt and the Gaza Strip by soldiers and blown up, the army said.
The tunnel was 8 meters underground and 30 meters long. Its opening was in an empty storeroom.
This is the second such tunnel found this week, the previous one 600 meters long, and the seventh such tunnel to be discovered since the beginning of the year, the army said, adding that about 80 smuggling tunnels have been found since September 2000.
Palestinian security officials said they were unaware of a tunnel being blown up.
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said this week that even after a planned Israel withdrawal from Gaza, Israel would hold on to the patrol road, at least initially, to prevent weapons smuggling.
In Nablus three bombs detonated near IDF forces deployed in the area. A fourth bomb blew up prematurely, wounding the Palestinian who threw it. No Jewish injuries or damage were reported.
Shutting down the industrial zone deprives thousands of local palenstinians of their jobs, another abusive action on the part of Israel I suppose.
