Who is "Wretchard" of the Belmont Club blog? I'm no graduate of the war college, but he strikes me as highly thoughtful and well versed in the art of war. I really can't fault his analysis, but I claim no special credentials in this scale of operation.

wretchard is a freeper who has had his own blog for about a year.
He does not provide much bio info about himself, I do not think he has a formal military background.
I have found Belmont Club to be part of my ever-growing list of essential daily reading.
