...After three years of George Bushs flailings, who doesnt yearn for Clintons steady, nuanced leadership? The best thing about Clinton was that since he spent most of his waking hours either causing or covering up his personal scandals, he never had the time to really run the executive branch. We were mostly adrift for eight years, and while mostly that would be a good thing, in foreign affairs it directly contributed to our current terrorism.
...already thwarted at least two major terrorist attacks
Does anyone have a clue what he's talking about? The only terrorist attack that Clinton thwarted was the Elian Gonzales invasion.

A Kerry-Clinton ticket might be the right prescription for Democrats who want to mount a stiff challenge to President Bush.Leave it to the Dems to rely on the Clintons for some stiffness, no matter how bent.
I guess Kerry is looking flacid.

Polish it, Bronze it, impeach it, it just keeps on stinking.

Kerry Takes the High Road
In the increasingly nasty and bitter presidential contest, the Bush-Cheney campaign continued their hard-edged assault on Vietnam veteran John Kerry, accusing the decorated war hero of jeopardizing American security by casting votes that were, quote soft on defense, end quote. Similar attacks on the Senators patriotism have become a key part of the GOPs down-and-dirty campaign agenda in recent days. For his part, Senator Kerry has taken the high road, preferring to run an issue-oriented campaign that stresses problems like massive unemployment, Americas mounting war dead and the alienation of our closest allies, all of which he blames on the radicalism and ineptitude of the current administration.
Dan Rather on the CBS Evening News, April 1.

" Clinton ... thwarted at least two major terrorist attacks."
Thwarted *what* two major terrorist attacks? And compared to the 5+ that actually occurred on his watch, NOT a good record to be bragging about.

For the record, Bubba had his chance when the first WTC bombing occurred in 1993 and if Bubba had taken OBL when he had the chance maybe there wouldn't have been a WTC bombing in 2001!
No Bubba did enough damage in the eight years he was in office...as it is, it may take decades to fix the mess he left behind!

on 2nd thought, there is a 3rd, more likely possibility.........
he's both.

He used the date of 4/01 simply as cover in order to write what he truly feels. Anyone still have doubts that Hillary is somehow going to replace Kerry as the Dem candidate?
The Dems are busy re-writing history, making Bill out to be the great counterterrorism warrior.
Next, they will sell the Hillary candidacy as an opportunity to return Bill to the White House to keep us safe from terrorism.

Kerry In Bed With Big Pickle
By now everyone is familiar with how Big Oil and Big Tobacco are fueling the re-election effort of George Bushs polluter-friendly administration. But Democratic presidential frontrunner John Kerry has a much less known though potentially every bit as powerful weapon in his campaign arsenal. As Joie Chen discovered, thanks to the good fortune of his second marriage, Mr. Kerry enjoys the backing of Big Ketchup, Big Pickle, Big Relish and maybe even the entire Big Condiment lobby.

We quit watching the Group when McLaughlin and Buchanan started their anti-war and anti-Bush diatribes last year.
Tony Blankley is the only conservative left.

Is that article a joke?
If so, how do you know?
I'm sure that there are quite a few people out there that believe what Notch wrote.
None of them were at the April 4th Minnesota Wild Hockey game, but I know they are out there?

Rather never mentioned decorated war hero when refering to either GHW Bush or Bob dole that I can recall. Must have been an unintentional omission on Danny boys part.

It is amazing how these people like being loved and the way you earn that is to do nothing, to offend no one.

Typical liberal garbage from the flagship magazine of the Washington Post. *Newsweek* has always been more appropriately called in my mind *LibWeek*. The only thing even remotely interesting to me in this rag has been George Will's once every other week backpage column. But I can usually get those columns after they're reprinted in my local newspaper, so I quit reading the trash years ago.

We've been infiltrated by DU trolls. A pretty humorless bunch.
It's apparently OK for libs to make fun of WJC since his career as an elected politician is over.
HRC is a sacred cow however.
