Yep, Joe, the borders still remain virtually unchecked. I don't get it. I shudder to think what it will take for Mr. Bush to wake up and protect us from southern (and northern) invasions. The Mexican vote can't be so important that he would risk the lives and safety of Americans.

"Are our borders still wide open?"

You notice how the die-hard Bush supporters never respond with a credible answer to this question?

Isn't there someone out there that can come up with a reasonable answer as to why Mr. Bush refuses to guard our borders? Please, I'm begging for an answer. And please don't answer by calling me a liberal or saying how bad it would be if Ketchup-boy gets elected. Just tell me why he won't enforce the existing laws and close the damn borders!!!!!!

Why yes I have.

It needs to be asked. It's like the 600 pound mountain lion laying on the couch. Everyone seems happily standing.

Because even the most die-hard Bush supporters (I among them) know that it is the one undeniable failure of the administration.

The only credible answer I can think to give is, "How do you think it'll be under Kerry? Better or worse?". But given the gravity of problem, I'm not particularly comfortable with that answer. Better than Kerry is still bad enough to do a whole lot of damage.
