Only if you accept the media definition of a conservative as anyone who doesn't spout DNC talking points.

Can O'Reilly really be considered a true conservative? He's only denied being a conservative about a hundred times. He's simply painted that way by the ultra far-left nutjobs.

O'Reilly has never, to my knowledge, claimed to be a conservative. And he's probably right, since he seems to have a lot of enemies among conservatives. But his refusal to be a party-line liberal also makes THEM hate him. He is pompous and often fails to do his homework, but I appreciate his independence.

Can O'Reilly really be considered a true conservative? No. O'Reilly is a populist. I would put him a bit to the right of Jim Hightower, but anyone on a scale with Hightower is irrelevant to me.

No, I don't think he is. He plays that don't drive an SUV song. He aXks as if he is for enviormentalism. This is OK for a NY cab rider. We do work hard jobs and load a lot into SUV's here in the heartland. An SUV is a part of life.
