I saw Clarke on TV. He looks gay to me. So does Howard Dean. Think Clarke might have written the book because he thought Dean might be the nominee instead of some macho gigolo?

Most Republicans figured that there was no way that the Democrats could politicize a nominally "independent" 9-11 Commission without implicating the Clinton Administration. That's why many conservative Republicans (not just the usual RINOs and McCainiacs) embraced the idea. Now we know how it could be done. Will the Republicans ever learn?

Normally, if they had one that showed the man was believed by a large margin they'd be playing it, right?
