Because, dear lady, the world is full of controlling twits who, if their "intention" is good, think nothing of making things up. Cute stories about events that "might" have happened, cautionary takes, tearjerking stories, you name it.

Of course, the real world is much more interesting, but they have a mission in life. It's always for a good reason.

What a shame. I don't think lack of education lead to this girl's tragic loss of virginity. Lack of education just led to ignorance. Really, she wasn't given moral guidance that she would regret this decision.
