So much for Texas justice... a father would never get away with this lame defense. That's what I was thinking --- if it were reversed --- a father who had previously had committed adultery against his wife, waited until the wife was very sound asleep and then went through the house brutally killing the children after premeditation would be viewed differently.

Where'd you get that part? I don't recall seeing anything about her being an adulteress.
