Thanks for the ping - this whole week has brought a lot of memories and brought to mind a lot of other old car race and tragedy tunes like "Hot Rod Lincoln", "Last Kiss", "GTO", "Shut Down", et al. that I haven't thought about for quite some time.

Our oldies station here, WRLL-AM 1690, has been playing a lot of Jan and Dean stuff all week including the older numbers like "Popsicle" and "Heart and Soul."
