Do you read the papers or watch the news?
Kerry sells himself as a Catholic candidae.
Thus, HE is campaigining on it - and it goes to his credibility and his character.
One who lies about his religion for personal gain will lie about anything to any one at any time.
CHaracter matters.

I'm not a Catholic, but I could not agree with you more.
Unfortunately, I don't think the Catholic church has gone out of its way to enforce their rules. Personally, I say it's their problem and up to them to solve.

...and it goes to his credibility and his character... You're judging a democrat on the republican standards of credibility and character. The partisan left is in "anyone but Bush" mode and will vote democrat if Jeffrey Dahlmer is the nominee.

This campaign will put the heat on three groups with regards to character and integrity. First is Kerry who will be exposed to Catholics as a hypocrite in yet another area of his life. Second, the Bishops of the Church who will be exposed as hypocrites (excepting a few brave ones)with regard to taking a public stand on Church teaching. Third, exposing the majority of Catholics who vote Democrat as hypocrites. This will certainly stir the pot...if we are cleansing the Church of depraved priests and bishops, then CINO's should also be scrutinized.

Kerry sells himself as a Catholic candidate. That's because JFK was a Catholic.
Also it helped Kerry in Mass. to be an Irish Catholic. But that sham has been exposed. -Tom
