Who's listening to "Scare America"? They're on like, what?...six stations nationwide? And the one they're on in LA is a Korean-language station.

I really hate to bring it up, but that is more or less what they were.
And what's wrong with that? A mercenary is someone who is more or less a soldier for a living. As long as he is not willing to perform immoral acts as part of his job, there is absolutely nothing dishonorable about being a mercenary.

Hey SFR, that is the best FR ad on the board.
Classic, striking, and revealing.
Just excellent.

The problem is that liberals need to call civilians mercenaries to accuse them of ignoring the Geneva convention.

No no no, she was calling THE DEAD AMERICANS (the civilians in that jeep) mercenaries, not the camel-jockies that killed them. The towel heads might be mercenaries, I don't know or care...the Americans who died were nothing of the sort.

Well, actually they were. They were mercenaries protecting food being delivered to the people. Which in my mind, the necessity of having mercenaries to protect food is bad enough, but then the reciepients of the food killing the people who bring it is the worst.

I have read no reports that these men were hired for the purpose of conducting combat operations in Iraq. The published reports is that they are ex-military, and they were there to provide security, or teach others how to provide security.

From what I've heard, which may not be correct, they were hired guards for convoys. Which, under the circumstances, in my opinion is pretty much being a soldier.

Actually disease Garafolo started it last night...says the President and PM Blair are purposely pulling out the troops and putting in mercenaries trained by Pinochet of Chile(?). Her co-host then insists the mercenaries are purposely starting the trouble so they are assured work and high wages...oh, yeah; the mercenaries make $4000 a month while our troops only get paid $150 a month.
The funniest is they feel CNN works and is a mouthpiece for the President
The station is hysterical and I hope it lasts because it will help the President....their hate rederic and ridiculous conspiracy theories will send the independent voter our way...mark my words.
