I also have a son with Asperger's. We didn't get a diagnosis until he was 9. There are some positives to getting the diagnosis; now I know WHY he does some of the things he does. If you want to chat about it, FReepmail me. My boy is 12 now.

I sympathise.

My daughter is mildly autistic. We didn't find out til she was 8. SO frustrating to not know what was causing her weird behavior!

BTW, before anyone here jumps on me, we hold her accountable for her actions, and she KNOWS the difference between right and wrong.

Just because she's got problems doesn't mean she can't think and learn.
