I like Macs too. My first computer was a 68K based Mac (as a matter of fact I still have it), but don't use it. I just can't see my way the price of a new one. I might see if I can put Linux on my old one & let the kids use it.

Speaking of Windex rescue. I keep a Knoppix disk handy. It is a bootable CD with Debian Linux installed. You can access the Windex partition using it.
