I don't know. That's a tough one. I know that my childhood was a LOT different than my kids. The schooling in Jr. & Sr. high...I can see MANY similarities.
Sorta.

My childhood was not substantially different than my kids, the only significant difference is the media and what is allowed, (cable, MTV, etc) and what we had, Leave it to Beaver, Gilligan's Island, Lost in Space, etc. When I grew up we were never a 'big' TV watching family, and that followed through to my kids. We never limited our kid's television watching, but, we never encouraged it either. The TV is there like a radio is today. Mostly we use the TV for videos or Fox news. (and one soap opera my kids have to tape - it has to be a college thing)
