Goodnight Glocks, and if you're up to it, I'd really like advice on becoming more gun savvy. Specifically, I used to hunt, I was decent on a 357 magnum, (at least 5 out of six beer bottles on a fence), but that was ages ago. I'd like more current up to date data on how I, a woman, can relearn to use a gun (WI is battling concealed carry), and specifically, to protect my and our country's citizens 2nd amendment rights. Thanks....

OK, I'm in visioning a little shack on some 'mighty' river that doesn't thaw until May, we can plant a garden with substandard growth, and really be hard up when our snowmobile can't run because we didn't get enough fuel for the return trip. But, let's not forget our shortwave radio, and all the good folks monitoring our situation. After a while, we might finally get relief and be shuttled off to Montreal. Of course, those wanna be Frenches will shun us because we don't speak French. .........

My childhood was not substantially different than my kids, the only significant difference is the media and what is allowed, (cable, MTV, etc) and what we had, Leave it to Beaver, Gilligan's Island, Lost in Space, etc. When I grew up we were never a 'big' TV watching family, and that followed through to my kids. We never limited our kid's television watching, but, we never encouraged it either. The TV is there like a radio is today. Mostly we use the TV for videos or Fox news. (and one soap opera my kids have to tape - it has to be a college thing)
