I agree they have a pretty big window, but they are being relatively specific with the location and magnitude.

I think the article stated the current window is 5 months, so they've know the possibility for a while.

It's particularly interesting that the remaining 5 month window centers on the June 8th transit of Venus. Perhaps we are entering the phase where the gravitational forces are becoming substantial enough to have an effect.

A 6.5 or greater is a major earthquake, isn't it?

Yes, I would think that the gravitational pull of Venus could affect the earth, wouldn't that put it into the same type of pull as the Haarp program.

In a town or city a 6.5 earthquake can do a lot of damage.
