In March 1775, Patrick Henry urged his fellow Virginians to arm in self-defense, closing his appeal (uttered at St. John's Church in Richmond, where the legislature was meeting) with the immortal words: "I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death."

Believe it or not, that church still hold services to this very day. It is located a few blocks from where I work.
Its just a plain and simple white clapboard building, not very special to look at. Its history is fantastic, however.

Dear Amy,
Since America=bad and all else=good. Why do you not renounce your citizenship and leave?
And since you don't "care for" President Bush, might I remind you of something. We salute the uniform, not the man.
Could it be you also wish the right to take the lives of the unborn as well?
You are a poor misquided creature, ruled by emotion, rather than an understanding of history, an appreciation of your heritage and your freedom, and an ethical and moral code.
Sincerely,
Doug
