On the 6:00 p.m. news report for the Philly/New Jersey area the local FBI spokesman was saying that the placards on the stolen tanker truck were not valid, so it would be difficult to legally fill the 9,200 gallon tanker with fuel.

Ummmmmmmm.....have the FBI not noticed the number of foreign owned and operated gas stations in recent years!!!!! IMO it would be just as easy to fill the tanker as it was to steal the truck to begin with. Also, they are not sure exactly what day the truck was stolen....timeframe between April 8th and 12th.

If it was stolen by terrorists, I doubt they would be worried about filling it legally with gasoline. I can think of other uses that would cause a lot more damage. It would merely be a way to deliver the "device" to the target unnoticed.
