Well, I better get in the daily hoax. I saw a high altitude plane circling in the sky as well as a helicopter circling over Duval High school in Greenbelt.

Prince Georges county (in Maryland) has closed down all public schools due to a bomb threat. Here is the news from wtopnews.com

UPPER MARLBORO -- All Prince George's County public schools and school offices were evacuated after a threat was phoned in to police.
Dr. Andre Hornsby, chief executive officer for Prince George's County schools, tells WTOP the caller made an unspecified threat that claimed to involve three schools. The schools were not specified.

Hornsby says the caller demanded a ransom of $1 million.

Police requested that the schools be evacuated as a precaution.

The caller's deadline of 3 p.m. has passed with no explosions or injuries. Police and school officials are still checking the exterior and interior of all 198 facilities.

From a good friend in Maryland.

I can tell you that bomb threats are a regular occurance in public schools around here.....if they evacuated all schools, there must have been some information that led them to believe that it was legit and not a hoax. Bomb scares are regular, evacuations (especially countywide) are not :)
