The point is, as is usual with the liberal media, the double standard. If this was Bush having surgery after a snowboarding "photo-op", the press would be hounding to find the real story.

"Do we have another liberal media cover-up on our hands?"
Of course we do.(Rember when the report came out with 'all those details' - they really 'protested/excused' too much - obvious coverup!)
Was hoping some little Repub nurse might spill the beans or share with the National Enquier. But we know there is a high price to be paid for the truth of johnkerry; by the person who discloses it, of course.
I would bet that he is an arrogant, rude and demanding patient as well.
johnkerry suffers not, those who serve.

***If the surgery is elective then the timing is really suspect.***
Yes, I agree. Unless an injury is very severe, the timing of the operation is usually pretty flexible. Why would he choose to do it in the middle of a campaign, when he'll be really limited in flexibility and in pain for weeks?? Why wouldn't he have had it done months ago, or wait a few months to have it done AFTER the election?
Does he think he needs more attention?
Another point to consider: If President Bush needed surgery of that sort, he would have it done during his VACATION.

Are you sure you REALLY want to see MORE of that saggy, botox filled body? :-)

"Who cares?"
I care that another public Dimrat has such control over the media that even the smallest truth in their life; must be rendered unfit for public consumption.
It speaks to Kerry's arrogance and his uncompromising dishonesty of all things apparently; 'great and small'. But mostly - or - at the least, this just provides another example of Kerry's disdain for the truth. . .and his 'let them eat cake' attidude that is embedded in his dismissive attitude.
He truly embodies the core values of every good Demrat.
[ In the greater scheme of things; the truth of this has little relevance; but it does matter that we know we cannot depend 'ever' on getting to the truth of anything, with a Demrat. . .this may just be another flag; we can try and read the signs or not. . .]

I just noted on another thread that the man had scarlet fever as a child and nobody's interested in his persistent coughs and colds. He looks cadaverous.
And what kind of wuss tears his shoulder when the bus lurches, but it's ok for skiing and snowboarding?

So, which Kerry do you prefer? One with poor judgement, one that lies, or one that's a complete fool? I prefer "none of the above". Of course, you have to consider the possibility that Kerry is ALL of the above.
I just don't think the public in general cares about Kerry's shoulder.

If he's lying, I care. If he is, it won't be the first time he's lied, and it won't be the most important thing he's lied about.

Your vanity posts are not news. Put them in chat. This is your contribution to a post that many other FReepers thought interesting? Curious that you are the only one complaining! Do you feel omnipotent?
P.S. When you have been around FR as long as I have I might take your posts seriously.

P.S. When you have been around FR as long as I have I might take your posts seriously. I have not looked at your dates, but I have been around here for awhile. Maybe you have not looked at mine.
Vanity posts are fine, but they do not belong in news. They aren't news.

I have not looked at your dates, but I have been around here for awhile. Maybe you have not looked at mine. I stand by what I said. Maybe when you get to be moderator you can move it or ban me.
What you are missing is that what really happended to Kerry's shoulder should be news and isn't.
