Early morning news on Boston's CBS TBV station ran a short piece, complete with shot of Condi Rice walking with Bush on the WH lawn. The voice-over: Research of the speech Condoleeza Rice was to give on 9/11 finds that she was slated to talk about terrorism....but NOT AL QUAEDA. Implication is Al Quaeda wasn't 'urgent' worry for Bush admin. This is the stick they'll whack Condi with next week.

A few years ago, I was watching a program on television that traced the history of commentators. They showed one guy from the sixties - an ex-Marine who had one leg blown off. The pictures of him showed a very handsome, clean-cut individual and the video pieces they ran showed a man unafraid of calling a spade a spade - calling Abbie Hoffman an unwashed hippie to his face, calling other's commies to thier face. Anybody know whom I am talking about?

The reason I bring this up is because it would be great to have someone like this on television today. Imagine interviewing RClarke and the guy saying to him "You know what I think? I think you got pissed off because you were demoted and not only had to work for a woman, but a black woman. I think you're nothing but a sexist, racist bigot!" That would cause some heads to spin!

I wake up to 'BZ radio. Their plug for their campaign coverage is indistinguishable from a Kerry ad, except that it isn't paid for by H.J. Heinz Company. The other day they said that Congress passed a bill outlawing "a certain kid of late term abortion." They couldn't bring themselves to say "partial birth abortion", or more accurately "infanticide".

The most significant threat has been rogue states working in concert with Al Qaeda. Once the rogue states are out of the equation, then it is a lot easier to deal with Al Qaeda. As Rummy says, the swamps have to be drained.

They are obviously confusing Condi with the Clinton administration. In the Clinton White House the only existing terrorist was the white supremacist - to imply that any other type of terrorist existed was, in their eyes, completely racist!

Bush Administration: "No, please bre'fox, do not throw me into that briar patch!" Condi Rice will soar! When the American people see the contrast between this remarkable, patriotic woman and the spineless weasel Clark it will be great! The White House has known this all along, they just want to do it on their terms, which is not to set a precedent for future administrations. I can't wait! Sure, the Democrats are trying to set a perjury trap. Good people need not fear the Truth.
