I saw Breitweister on MSNBC today, interviewed by the anchor named "Sam". He was more than deferential and they both referred to her pov as representative of "the families".
He asked her many questions, but the one I wish to point to was that she opined that Bush and Cheney speaking privately to the committee might result in them being "less than truthful".
Naturally she has zero concerns about Clarke's representations. It is clear when she says "we want the answers" she means an admission of her own ill-founded and disturbing preconceived conclusions.
It would behoove MSNBC to recognize Breitweiser and her little group that Sam was oohing and ahing over as radical and there are other families who are in tremendous pain thanks to them.
Did they ask her what she thought of Clinton and Gore testifying privately to the committee? I'll bet no. Breitweister makes me ill. She's the same woman who condemned Bush for even mentioning 9/11 in an ad, while at the same time saying that he was responsible for 9/11! Everything that comes out of her mouth is full of bile. I guess it's too much to expect for some reporter to do his/her homework and confront her with the litany of hateful, outrageous statements she has made.
