[history]
Larry Elder played a clip of John Kerry in New Hampshire from the end of January.
A guy in the crowd, wearing a Malcolm X ballcap, asked Kerry to explain the icon on his hat.
Kerry responded --- The Latin? The ten?
He then said something about the X man or X men.
It had to be explained to him that it was Malcolm X.
Kerry then went into pandering mode about what he knew about Malcolm X.
The clip was really funny, and there was laughing in the crowd.
Will this ever make the mainsteam?

Wouldn't it have seemed a bit 'racist' to some folks if Kerry would have immediately blurted out "The 'X' is for Malcolm X", since a black man was wearing the cap? Is it possible Kerry's brain actually went into overdrive trying to answer the question in the best PC way? Is it better to seem out-of-touch or racist these days?

The "X" on Kerry's forehead (post 27) is an ashen cross, from Ash Wednesday.

I bet Rush will play it on Monday, demonstrating that he does pay attention to what's going on in the world when he's away from the golden EIB microphone, having fun.

Never know. Kerry is a dumbass. I bet he doesn't even know about the negro leagues. I had a customer who had a great grandfather in the negro leagues and people would ask 'why is a white guy wearing an X cap?' Kerry really is a pandering idiot.

Click the link in that post, the story is there. It's not a church, but a firehouse. I saw this campaign stop on C-SPAN back in January.

I posted the story link above. It actually happened in New Hampshire at the end of January. Joe Shea, the reporter who wrote the piece I linked, really gave Kerry-Heinz a pass with this report ---
"The Hampton event was a challenge for Kerry, who faced a difficult question asking him to assess the influence of Malcolm X from a tall Tim Robbins lookalike who wore a black cap with a silver "X" on it - a promotional item once handed out at the movie's premieire."
The reporter did not talk about the stupid Latin No. 10 remark.
