The Libertarian Party basically believes in limited government and the original intent of the Constitution. They advocate for liberty and against its restriction. They certainly don't want taxpayers picking up the tab for abortions or any other unnecessary function of government.
The only liberties for which the rats advocate are abortion, perverted lifestyles, multiculturalism and spending other peoples money.
If I lived in another state I could see myself registering and voting Libertarian, even though I can't approve of allowing abortions. There are many pubbies and others in the pro-life camp who approve of gun control. In this world, the Second Amendment is my loadstone. As it is while I still live in NY, I'm registered as a Conservative to try to anchor all the RINOs here.
